It involves being open and talking through your thoughts and emotions, letting your guard down (being vulnerable), and showing someone else how you feel and what your hopes and dreams are. Intimacy is built up over time, and it requires patience and effort from both partners to create and maintain.

The highest level of intimacy, requires the greatest amount of trust in our relationship. It is only when we feel truly safe with somebody, that we become willing to share the deepest core of who we are. It's up close and personal.

True intimacy is experienced when you deeply know and care for someone and they deeply know and care for you. True intimacy can be experienced in multiple ways, including through physical connection, emotional connection, spiritual connection, and intellectual connection.

These include lower stress levels, better healing after surgery, healthier behaviors, and even a longer lifespan. Intimacy has even been found to ward off depression. Physical affection has been linked to lower resting blood pressure and higher levels of oxytocin, a feel-good hormone.

Intimacy is more than just sexual needs. Intimacy also includes emotional, spiritual, physical and recreational needs. If your emotional intimacy needs aren't being met, you might be less interested in sex. Think about what your partner could do to enhance your emotional intimacy, and talk about it openly and honestly.

Just like women, men need love, warmth, closeness, validation, and acceptance. Men are also more physical (due to a higher level of testosterone), and they express these needs for emotional closeness by doing things side by side with their wives.

This is why intimate relationships are the bedrock of a good life: Research consistently shows that close relationships are one of the strongest and most important predictors of happiness, good health and living a meaningful life.

The Divine Intimacy is a life-changing experience that helps women develop and intimate relationship with Christ as they are delivered from lust, fornication and soul ties. It gives you back the power of self control from sexual temptation and helps you build self discipline.
